Following publication of your web site for a client, you now need to use a range of techniques to review and test it, suggesting further development as appropriate, including the provision of onscreen help for users and a support manual for future site managers

Critically review your published
website and present your conclusions in an illustrated report or
presentation. This document should include your findings from analysis and feedback
from the tasks B and C below

Compare your published site to the
initial brief and specifications, including results from testing the pages in
at least three different browsers and a code validation check. Summarise the
results of testing in your report for task B
|

Obtain and analyse feedback from at
least 5 independent potential users of your site through a questionnaire that
invites them to comment on its text and graphic design, accessibility, use of
images, interactive features and display in their browser. Summarise any
further improvements or amendments that you would consider making in your
report for task A.

Create a new section of the site
which provides on-screen help for users. This should explain clearly how to
use the site and address any related issues discovered during testing or
independent feedback or subsequently required by the client.

Prepare support documentation to
enable the client or a future adviser to be able to access and manage the
published site. This documentation should include FTP access details,
principal colour codes for text and graphic elements, font styles used, folder
structure, licence terms and dimensions for images as well as explanations,
or sources for explanations, of how to amend page code and scripts.
